The 50th match of the 15th season of IPL was played between Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Brabourne Stadium yesterday.

  In this match, Delhi's 35-year-old veteran opener David Warner was seen in tremendous form against Hyderabad.  He played a fine half-century of 92 runs in 58 balls for the team.  

During this, 12 fours and three excellent sixes came from his bat.

He also achieved a special achievement during the match.  In fact, before his half-century against SRH, 

he was jointly ranked first with Caribbean legend Chris Gayle in terms of most fifties in the T20 format,

 but now after his excellent half-century of 92 runs against SRH.  He has reached the first place, leaving Gayle behind.

Let us tell you that David Warner has now got 89 half-centuries in the T20 format.  Chris Gayle's name comes at number two after Warner. 

 Gayle has scored 88 fifties in the T20 format.  After these two players, the name of Indian veteran batsman Virat Kohli comes in third place.  

Kohli has scored 76 fifties in the T20 format.

 Talking about Warner's IPL career, he is currently the third highest run-scorer in this prestigious tournament.

  He has played 158 matches in IPL since 2009, scoring 5805 runs in 158 innings at an average of 42.4.  He has four centuries and 54 half-centuries to his name in the IPL.

Apart from this, talk about his T20 International cricket career, playing 88 matches for his team Australia, he has scored 2554 runs in 88 innings at an average of 32.7.  

He has one century and 21 half-centuries to his name in international cricket.
